STARBASE Alaska is located in buildings 60740 and 60724 of Camp Carroll on the old Fort Richardson part of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.

1. Take the Glenn Highway to the Fort Richardson/Arctic Valley exit
2. From the JBER gate (point A in the map above), stay on D St until you come to the first traffic light
3. Turn right at the traffic light onto 6^th St
4. Stay on 6^th St until you get to the yield sign
5. Turn right at the yield sign on to Davis Highway
6. Turn left at the Camp Carroll sign onto Roosevelt Rd (there’s an old tank set back from the corner on the northeast corner of this intersection)

For bus drop off

1. Turn right onto SCSM Archie Kahklen Ave (immediately after Bldg 60724; depending on the zoom level, this may be mistakenly shown as Major Muktuk Marston Ave in the Google map)
2. Stop and let students off at the next intersection (by the fire hydrant between the ends of Bldgs 60726 and 60728)

For carpool drop off

1. Turn right onto Col Wilfred Wood Dr (immediately after Bldg 60704)
2. Park and/or drop off students in the parking lot on the left

Classroom 1 is in Bldg 60740 and Classroom 2 is in Bldg 60724; a map with the building locations can be found here.

To ensure STARBASE staff is there to greet you when you arrive, call 384-6085 before you get to the JBER gate. Note: Cell phone use while driving is illegal on JBER!
